Financial assistance for construction of Indoor Badminton Stadium at Borboruah Pukhuri Bank, under Nazira Subdivision

Objectives:

  • To create opportunity for the youth of Nazira Subdivision area of taking sports and fitness as a career option and earning a livelihood in the long run.
  • To strengthen the infrastructure at the grass-roots level to enable better talent identification and development.

Outcome: Ongoing. The project will cater to the advanced facility needs of the youth of Nazira Subdivision of Sivasagar District to serve as an ideal indoor stadium for badminton in the region.

Funding: Section 135 of schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013

Renovation of the old pavilion of Peoli Phukan Stadium, Sivasagar

Objectives:

  • To give the youth of Sivasagar an area an opportunity of taking sports and fitness as a career option and earn a livelihood in the long run.
  • To provide a channel for the voice of people and train them for participation in competitions locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
  • To strengthen the infrastructure at the grass-roots level, as this will enable better talent identification and development.

Outcome: Ongoing. The project is to strengthen stadium infrastructure at the grassroot level enabling local talent to exhibit spectator to enjoy games and sports

Financial assistance for construction of girls toilets in Nazira girls HS school, Nazira, Sivasagar, Assam

Education

Objectives: To reduce health risk among the girls that arises from unhygienic sanitation facilities in schools

Funding: CSR Policy under Section 135 of Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013

Funding Agency:

Outcome: The toilets are been used by the girl students of the school in maintaining their cleanliness and sanitation safety.
