Foundation for Integrated Support and Solution

Founded on August, 2016, FISS endeavors to bridge the gap between the vulnerable sections of the Society and the resou rcefu I ness of various stakeholders of development like the Government, PSUs, Companies, NGOs, co-operatives etc. It is a platform for integrated and inclusive socio economic development, growth and innovation in Northeast India aligned with the global perspectives of SDGs as well as National Policies adopted by NITI Aayog. The Programs supported, promoted, initiated and/ or facilitated are community driven and pro poor. The thematic areas are prominently identified to avail equitable access to health care, education and livelihood. The initiatives and actions intending to balance the environmental damage and degradation and also building of socio economic infrastructure of quality are the other thematic areas of our focus.The solution driven interventions to enable communities towards having access to affordable safe drinking water, nutritious food, hygiene & sanitation and wellbeing are priorities to FISS. A rights-based initiative for empowering the children and women has been on the forefront of the actions of FISS. Also, FISS aims to bring the thinkers and doers together in a platform to collaborate, to educate, to learn, to implement-and make a bigger impact in achieving progressive social transformation in the Northeast India. FISS pledges to work closely for the attainment of sustainable development goals and to address the region's most pressing issues. As such, the FISS can also be termed as one of the spokes of the SDG wheel.
