Objectives
To distribute hearing aids to undeserved communities and individuals in need.
To make hearing aids more affordable and accessible to low-income individuals.
To raise awareness about hearing health, the importance of early detection, and
available solutions.
Outcome
FISS identified 302 children across various districts in Gujarat, covering Gandhinagar,
Mahesana, Nadiyad, Panchmahal, and Surat, who were experiencing difficulties in
hearing. Leveraging the support of ONGC, FISS provided innovative hearing solutions
to these children through the distribution of HearNU Devices; a non-surgical solution
designed to address conductive hearing loss.

Objectives
To develop awareness about the importance of menstrual health and hygiene
management among adolescent girls in schools.
To supply and install sanitary vending machinery in schools to enable adolescent
girl students for procurement of sanitary pads at affordable price within school
campus.
To supply standard menstrual hygiene kit among the women of slam areas (Nazira
& Geleky) to develop habit of use of safe hygiene materials.

installed in 5 private schools, i.e Tantia
High School, Lakwa, Chala High School,
Khelua, Hatipati High School, Nazira,
Lahdai Gar M E School, Gelekey, Vinoaji
M E School, Gelekey. Menstrual hygiene kits were distributed
among them 300 women and adolescent
girls from two slum areas of Nazira and
Geleky besides conducting awareness
program among them.

practice hours of students.
To create a sporting environment in the villages of Assam.
To extend the practice hours of the village volleyball clubs.
To improve performance of talented players so that they can represent state and
national team.
To organize a day-night volleyball tournament to popularize the game in Assam.

Installation of flood lights in 10 villages of 7 districts i.e Bajali, Nalbari, Lakhimpur,
Morigaon, Golaghat, Jorhat, and Tinsukia districts, Assam. The facilities have enabled
the youth of the 10 villages in playing volleyball during nightime on regular basis.

Objectives
To carry the dead body to the crematorium cemetery by providing integrated
support and assistance to the general public of Joysagar Civil Hospital in Sivasagar
District and provide emergency services for 24 x 7 without any discrimination
ensuring the last rites of every human being is made hassle free.

To coach, guide and groom the future generation of Assam's Volleyball players.
To provide high quality coaching and training, to selected, high
performing,'Sparks', identified during the recent BVL season, under the able
guidance of experienced NIS Coaches.
Identify the strengths & weaknesses of each selected player and work towards
enhancing the strengths and rectifying the weaknesses, for overall growth.

A total of 61 targeted players under the two
centres leraned the techniques of playing
higher level games through advance
coaching.

Financial Assistance for 15 days Football Coaching (U-16 age group) for 30 selected
youth at Piyoli Phukan stadium, Sivasagar
Outcome
The Special Football Coaching Camp under the project was organised by Sivasagar
Sports Association in association with FISS and ONGC Assam asset-CSR for a period of
15 days w.e.f from 25th December, 2023 to 8th Jan, 2024. It was done in Pioli Phukan
Stadium, Sivasagar. Thirty boys (under 16 years of age) were benefitted under the
special football coaching camp.
